This week, I was supposed to have a wonderful de-frumping post with before and after photos. Unfortunately, I forgot to upload the photos from my camera to the computer, and email them to myself at work. Terrific. So, I'm going to have to TELL you about it, and post the pictures this evening (I hope!!).
Saturday, I decided to follow the advice of a few of last weeks Frump Fighters and went and got my hair cut. I got a swing bob. VERY short - No more ponytails for this girl. All my scrunchies have been rendered useless. When I got home from the salon, Budman said "Hi! I'm Budman, I'm sorry, you have to leave - my wife will be home soon." LOL!! Sunday I did a little of the hair dyeing. I've been getting compliments all week - and I'm feeling FABULOUSLY de-frumpified (is that a word?)
I've been trying to find a picture of a swing bob, and I've had no luck (never mind that I'm SUPPOSED to be working) so picture Victoria (Posh Spice) Beckham's hair (only not anorexic). I swear I'll post the pictures this evening!! (No, I don't honestly think I even remotely resemble Posh Spice, but I've been unable to find a picture of my hair on someone else!) Although, Budman (and one other person) compared it to Jamie Lee Curtis, so I guess maybe I look like this:
Although, I would rather look like this:
Ooh! Maybe I look like this!! Only - blonder..
Or maybe this: (also blond-er)
Maybe not...
This is kinda fun - I may never post the actual photos!!

Have a great day!
***EDIT: I forgot the best thing - well, things, actually. Saturday, I stopped off at the corner store on the way home, to pick up some Dr. Pepper and some beer for the gathering we were having the next day, and the old man at the Gas Station, who sees me at least 4 times a week, didn't recognize me and MADE ME SHOW MY ID!!!!! Yeehaw!
Bet the bestest best thing, is that my hair is SO SUPA EASY to style! I thought I was gonna have to tear the house apart to find my blowdryer and my curling iron, and you know what? I didn't! I just bought some hair gel and some hair spray, and I'm good to go! (And not in a Frumpy way, like I used to)

Go home! I want to see pictures.
The pictures you posted were fun, but we need actual photos! haha. Love that he didn't recognize you...it must have been a good make-over.
oh cute, i survived the 'no ponytail challenge too' i plan to blog about that(and my harrowing lunch) in a bit. I'm actually thinking of going the 'other way' with my hair- long!
Oh Honey, carded by a regular.
You are one hot mama! ;)
Supposed to be workin'? Fighting the frump is work!
We want some pictures next week. Promise?
Love ya, my friend-
Fussy
Your braver than I am!
I agree plaeeze post a picture.
I agree! Let's see that sexy hair. Great post!
Yay for getting carded!
Sounds adorable!! Can't wait to see the actual pictures!! Congrats on getting ID'd!!
I've spent the past couple years growing my hair out after having it super short. Why no one told me my head shouldn't be home to little to no hair is beyond me! I love the long hair, but sometimes I feel like I'm eating it. It's always in my face. So I'm always looking for shorter haircuts...so now I'm coming back again, hoping to see shots of yours, because nothing is greater for the ego than being carded! Except for maybe having the husband be all complimentary!
OK, where are the pics? I actually like bobbed hair and would really like to see your photos. I used to have a gorgeous bob, all swinging and shiny, and might even find myself giving up the ponytail and going back that way again. But - where are your pics? We need proof!
