Possum is 14 today!
I hope you know that I'm not nearly old enough to have a 14 year old!!And I hope that you know just how very much we love you, and how very glad we are to have you here with us.
I coudn't resist. I also hope you realize that you were put on this earth so that your father and I could embarrass you at every opportunity.
We love you and we are so proud of you. You're a terrific boy kid young man, and I am so happy that I get to be a part of your life.

My oldest son will be 11 this summer, and this popping up gave me a huge "gah!" flash forward mind rush!
